Advanced SystemCare Free - Possibly the best all-around tool we've found. Just download, install, and click on the blue "Care" button. The program does the rest!
CCleaner - Cleans up useless and outdated information from your hard drive, freeing up disc space and improving your computer's performance.
FastStone Image Viewer - An excellent, easy-to-use tool that allows you to edit your digital photos, including cropping and resizing.
Iobit Security 360 - Excellent tool for removing spyware, viruses, and more. We don't recommend leaving this run in the "always on" protection mode, though, as it will interfere with some programs.
MalwareBytes - Excellent program for finding and removing tough spyware. MalwareBytes finds and removes malware that the others miss.
OpenOffice.org - Free software that can read, create, and edit a large number of document types, such as Word, PDF, and more.
Paint.NET - Free software, similar to Adobe Photoshop. Allows you to create images, banners, and more. You will need to download and install Microsoft's .NET Framework, before installing Paint.net.
Spybot Search & Destroy - Removes Spyware and Trojans, which will slow your computer to a crawl. Be sure to install the "Tea Timer" option. This keeps programs from changing your settings, without your permission.
